Tomato Kurma
INGREDIENTS:
3 tomatoes finely chopped
2 finely chopped onions
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
4 tsp oil
chopped coriander leaves for garnishing
FOR THE MASALA:
3 dry red chillies
1 1/2 tsp coriander seeds
1 tsp poppy seeds / khus khus
6-8 cashew nuts
1/2 tsp turmeric pdr
Roast the above 4 ingredients in 1 tsp oil and grind with 1 green chilli and 1/4 cup fresh grated coconut into a fine paste
PROCEDURE:

Roast the above 4 ingredients in 1 tsp oil and grind with 1 green chilli and 1/4 cup fresh grated coconut into a fine paste
PROCEDURE:
- In a pan heat oil fry chopped onons till translucent
- Add chopped tomatoes,salt to taste and fry till it is cooked
- Add the masala and fry for 3 mins
- Add water and adjust the consistency of the gravy according to your taste
- Make it boil for 5 mins and garnish with chopped coriander leaves
- Serve hot with dosa,idli ,poori or roti
NOTE: If you want you can add veggies to this .
