Paper dosa with red garlic chutney
INGREDIENTS FOR DOSA:
1 cup dosa rice
1/4 cup urad dal
1/4 cup mixed dal like chana dal,moong dal and toor dal
1 tsp methi seeds
1/2 cup poha/avalakki/beaten rice
Salt to taste
PROCEDURE:
- Soak rice, methi seeds and dals in water for 5-6 hrs
- Wash poha and soaked rice ,dal mixture and grind into a smooth batter
- Ferment for 7-8 hrs,add salt and make thin dosas
- Smear a tsp of red chutney on dosa and cook till it becomes crisp
- Remove dosa and serve with coconut chutney and potato bhaji !!
