Poddale phodi/Snakegourd fritters
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup poddale/ snakegourd / paduval kayi
Oil for deep frying
1/4 cup rice flour mixed with 3 tsp fine rava
FOR THE MARINATION:
Make a paste of rice flour,hing,salt and chilli pdr with little water and keep
PROCEDURE:
- Wash and cut the poddale into 1/4 inch roundels or semi circles
- Marinate with the paste as required and keep for 10 mins
- Roll each pieces in rice flour and rava mixture and deep fry into crisp fritters
- Serve hot with rice and dal
Note:If the seeds are tender then use it with seeds!!
