Besan ki Barfi

1 cup besan
2 cups sugar
1 cup ghee
1 cup milk
1 tsp cardamom pdr
Handful cashew nuts finely chopped


  • In a bowl mix sugar and milk  ,till sugar dissolves
  • Grease one thali or a square tin and keep it ready
  • In a pan heat ghee,add besan and roast till nice aroma comes 
  • Add milk ,in which sugar is dissolved
  • Put cashew nuts chopped and cardamom pdr
  • Stir continuously ,till it makes a lump and leaves the sides of the pan
  • It takes around 15 to 20 mins
  • Pour the mixture into the greased tin and allow it to set
  • When it is still warm cut into desired shape and store in an airtight jar !!
