Crispy Saada Dosa

1 cup urad dal
1.5 cups dosa rice
1/2 cup sona masoori rice
1/4 cup chana dal
1/4 cup toor dal
1/4 cup putani/ hurigadale/ roasted daliya
1 tsp methi seeds
1 cup rice flour
1/4 cup maida
2 tsp cugar
Pinch of soda 
Salt to taste


  • Soak the ingredients no 1 to no 7 in water for 6-7 hrs and grind to a smooth batter, keep in a warm place for fermentation
  • Next day add rice flour,maida, salt, sugar and soda to the batter and adjust the consistency by adding water
  • heat tava and make dosas and serve hot with chutney,sambar or potato sabji !!!
