Lady's finger Crispies/ Bhindi fritters

2O bhindis / okra/ lady's fingers
Salt to taste
2 tsp roasted jeera pdr
2 tsp red chilli pdr
1/2 tsp turmeric pdr
1 tsp chat masala
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
2 tblsp besan/ chickpea flour
3 tblsp corn flour
2 tblsp rice flour
Curry leaves(optional)
Oil for deep frying


  • Wash and wipe the bhindis,trim the ends and cut into 4 pieces (lengthwise)
  • Add salt,toss well and keep aside for half an hour
  • After half an hour add all the spice powders and mix well
  • Add the rice flour,corn flour,besan and toss well ,so that all the bhindis are coated well with masala
  • Keep for 10 mins,heat oil and fry on a medium flame till it becomes crisp
  • Garnish with fried curry leaves and serve hot with rice and dal.
