Seeme badane Bhart


INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup peeled,chopped and boiled seemebadane / Cahayote squash
1 small onion finely chopped
1 green chilli finely chopped
2 tsp coconut oil
Salt to taste

FOR THE MASALA PASTE:
1/2 cup fresh grated coconut
chickpea size tamarind
2 red chillies roasted in little oil
Grind the above into a fine paste adding little water 

PROCEDURE:

  • Put the boiled seemebadane in a bowl and mash well with your hands
  • add the masala paste,chopped onions,green chilli,coconut oil and salt 
  • Mix well and serve immediately with rice and dal
