Kokum Mojito /Birinda / Punarpuli juice


INGREDIENTS:
2 glasses chilled water
6 tsp kokum syrup
5-6 mint leaves
1/2 tsp lime juice
Sugar to taste
Pinch of salt
1/2 tsp kaala namak/ Rock salt
1/2 tsp roasted cumin pdr
1/4 tsp crushed pepper
Some ice cubes

PROCEDURE:

  • Add sugar,lime juice and lemon juice in a glass or cocktail shaker. Use the end of a wooden spoon or cocktail muddler to muddle the mint leaves
  • Add chilled water and mix well till the sugar dissolves
  • Add the kokum syrup, cumin pdr, kaala namak and crushed pepper
  • Add some ice cubes and serve chilled
