Alu Simla mirch upkari / stir fry
Ingredients
3 capsicums/ Shimla Mirch
2 Alu/ potatoes
4 tsp oil
1 tsp mustard
3 red chillies broken
Salt to taste
3 tbsp grated coconut
Procedure
- Wash capsicum, potato and cut into juliennes.
 - Heat oil, add mustard, once it starts crackling add red chilli bits, fry for a second
 - Add cut potatoes, a little salt and cook with a lid covered
 - Once the potatoes are half cooked add capsicum juliennes and cook further, till they is cooked
 - Garnish with the grated coconut and serve hot with hot rice and dal.
