AMARKHAND is a yummy Indian dessert.This is a part of Maharastrian and Gujarati cuisine.This is a combination of hung curd, sugar and mango pulp. Mostly served with poori.

2 cups sweet curd(yogurt)
1/2 cup sugar powder
1 tsp cardamom powder
1/2 cup mango pulp
2 tsp milk
5 saffron strands


  • Keep the curd in a muslin cloth and hang it for 5 hours(keep in fridge , otherwise curd will become sour)
  • Mix the hung curd with powdered sugar, saffron soaked in milk,cardamom powder and mango pulp and beat well 
  • Serve chilled
