Lauki paratha with dahi raita


INGREDIENTS:

1/2 cup grated lauki (bottle gourd)
3 crushed green chillies
1/2 tsp daniya jeera powder (coriander cumin )
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 1/2 cup atta (wheat flour)
Salt to taste
PROCEDURE:

  • Mix all the above ingredients with water and  knead  to make a soft dough 
  • Devide into equal portions and make balls
  • Roll the balls into royi and spread around 1 tsp sesame seeds over it and spress it lightly 
  • Roast it on tava with ghee or oil
  • Serve with dahi raita
DAHI RAITA:(curd raita)
  • Take 1 cup curd ,add salt to taste and little sugar and mix
  • In 2 tsp oil add 1 tsp cumin seeds,1/4 tsp asafoetida powder,2 finely chopped green chillies and 1/2 tsp chilli powder.
  • Add this tempering to dahi (curd) and serve
