Paneer Kofta Curry


INGREDIENTS:

FOR KOFTAS:
100 gms paneer
3 tsp corn flour
Salt to taste
1/4 tsp pepper powder
Mix the above ingredients and make lemon size balls and deep fry into crisp koftas and keep aside

FOR THE GRAVY:
4 tsp oil
2 chopped onions
1 tomato chopped
2 tsp cashew nuts
1 tsp jeera
3 garlic cloves
1/2 inch ginger piece
2 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp khus khus(poppy seeds)
1/4 cup curd
1 tsp kasuri methi
Salt to taste
1/4 garam masala
Coriander leaves

PROCEDURE:

  • In a cooker put chopped tomato,onion,ginger garlic,khus khus,nuts,jeera,chilli powder,curd and 1/4 cup water and take one whistle
  • When it becomes cool grind it to a fine paste
  • Put oil in a pan and add the ground paste and fry well
  • Add  little water ,salt to taste ,kasuri methi and garam masala and cook for 5 minutes
  • Put the koftas  in the gravy while serving ,garnished with coriander leaves
