Capsi Coconut Masala
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup chopped capsicum
1/2 cup cauliflower florets
3 tblsp finely grated fresh coconut
1/2 tsp tamarind juice
2 tsp sambar powder
1/2 tsp haldi powder (turmeric)
2 tsp peanuts
2 tsp sesame seeds
Salt to taste
chopped coriander leaves for garnishing
for tempering:
3 tsp oil
2 tsp chana dal
1 tsp mustard
curry leaves
PROCEDURE:
- Dry roast peanuts n sesame seeds separately and make powder
- In a pan heat oil and add the tempering ingredients
- Put chopped capsicum and cauliflower florets
- sprinkle little water and cover with a lid
- when it is almost cooked add coconut grated,turmeric powder,sambar powder,salt to taste and peanut-sesame seeds powder
- Stir well ,add tamarind paste and chooped coriander leaves
- Serve hot with roti or hot rice
