Kadai Paneer


INGREDIENTS:
200 gms paneer cut into cubes
1/2 cup boiled  green peas (optional)
2 finely chopped onions
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
2 tsp red chilli powder(adjust it accg. to your taste)
1 tsp kasuri methi(dry fenugreek leaves)
5 tsp oil
1/2 cup milk
For masala:
Grind 1 onion chopped 2 tomatoes chopped 3 tsp fresh grated coconut and 8-10 cashew nuts
For garnishing:Chopped coriander leaves and fresh cream

PROCEDURE:

  • In a pan heat oil and saute chopped onion till it becomes translucent
  • Add ginger garlic paste and fry
  • Put all the spices and fry for 2 minutes
  • Add masala and fry till oil leaves the sides 
  • Add boiled green peas,paneer cubes,kasuri methi and salt to taste and mix well 
  • Add milk and little water  and make it boil
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and fresh cream
  • Serve hot with roti ,naan or any rice of your choice!!
