Aate ka Halva (jaggery)


INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup wheat flour
1/2 cup chiroti rava(very fine rava)
3/4 cup ghee
3 cups water
1 cup grated jaggery
1 tsp cardamom powder
some chopped almonds or cashew nuts

PROCEDURE:

  • In a pan heat ghee and roast wheat flour and rava till dark brown
  • In a vessel put water and jaggery and make it boil
  • When the jaggery is melted and water starts boiling add this to the flour,rava mixture and stir well to form halva consistency
  • Add cardamom powder and nuts roasted in ghee
  • Serve hot
