Rajma Palak
I got this recipe from the cookery show Turban Tadka --Food Food channel!!Thanx to the Chef HARPAL SINGH SOKHI !!
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup soaked and boiled rajma (red kidney beans)
1 cup finely chopped palak (spinach leaves)
5 tsp oil
2 chopped onions
1 finely chopped tomato
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 green chilli
1 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp garam masala powder
1 tsp kasoori methi(dried fenugreek leaves)
Chopped coriander leaves
Salt to taste
PROCEDURE:
- In a pan heat oil and saute chopped onions till it is transparent
- Add ginger garlic paste and fry till raw smell goes
- Put tomato chopped and fry well
- Add chopped palak and cook for 3 minutes
- add slit green chilli,turmeric ,chilli powder and garam masala anfd fry
- Put boiled rajma,salt to taste and 1/2 cup water
- Make it boil for 5 minutes
- Add kasoori methi and chopped coriander leaves
- Seve hot with roti
