Veg. kadai masala


1/2 cup boiled green peas
4 baby corns cut into 2 pieces
1/2 cup capsicum cut into cubes
1 small carrot cut into cubes
1/2 cup cauliflower florets
2 chopped onions
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
5 tsp oil
2 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
2 tsp chilli powder
2 tsp kasuri methi
1/2 cup milk
2 tsp grated paneer for garnishing
Chopped coriander leaves for garnishing
Oil for deep frying
Salt to taste

For masala:
3 tsp fresh grated coconut
2 chopped tomatoes
8-10 cashew nuts
1/2 onion chopped---Grind these into a fine paste


  • Wash and cut caulifower,baby corn and capsicum
  • Deep fry them (you can also use boiled veggies)
  • In a pan heat oil and saute chopped onions for 5 minutes
  • Add masaa,ginger garlic paste and fry well
  • Put all spices  and fry for a minute
  • Add boiled green peas and cerrot
  • Add deep fried veggies
  • Add salt to taste,kasuri methi and milk
  • cook for 5 minutes ,add water if needed
  • garnish with grated paneer and chopped coriander leaves
Note:  using deep fried veggies gives an added taste to the gravy
