Batate Patthal Bhaji


INGREDIENTS:
2 medium sized potatoes cut into thin slices
1finely chopped
2 tblsp fresh grated coconut
chopped coriander leaves for garnishing
salt to taste
FOR TEMPERING:
2 tsp oil
1 tsp mustard
! sprig curry leaf
2 tsp uraddal
1/2 tsp haldi powder
2-3 slit green chillies

PROCEDURE:

  • In cooker heat oil and add all the tempering ingredients one by one
  • Add chopped tomato,sliced potato,salt and 1/2 cup water
  • Close the lid and take 3 whistles
  • When steam is released  open the lid and add coconut and coriander leaves and serve hot with poori or chapathi
