Gobi Lajawaab
Adapted this yummy recipe from the cookery show RASOI SHOW E TV GUJARATI CHANNEL !! This gravy tastes very yummy !!
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup gobi florets washed
3 tsp oil
whole garam masalas like badi elaichi,choti elaichi,bayleaf,lavang,each one piece,1 tsp shahi jeera,small piece of cnnamon
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
2 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
2 tsp red chilli powder
2 medium onions chopped , boiled and ground to fine paste
1 tomato blanched
6 cashew nuts
2 tsp khova'1/4 cup milk
2 tsp kasuri methi
Salt to taste
Chopped coriander leaves
PROCEDURE:
- Put the gobi florets in salt water for 10 minutes
- Drain water and make it dry
- Add salt and deep fry the florets and keep aside
- Grind blanched tomato and nuts
- In a kadai heat oil and add all the whole garam masalas and fry for a min.
- put ginger garlic paste and fry
- Add onion paste and fry till raw smell goes
- Put the tomato nuts paste and saute for 3 mins
- add all the spices and fry well
- Now put the milk,khova and lil water
- Add the fried gobi,salt,kasuri methi and make it boil for 5 mins
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
