Baked Patti Samosa

Tried this healthy version of samosa for the first time and it came out very well!! Here I've used left over potato sabji of aloo paratha and for the outer covering used ready made samosa patti!! 

INGREDIENTS:
Ready made samosa patti 
oil 
OR
  INGREDIENTS FOR THE OUTER COVERING:
5 tblsp maida / all purpose flour
1 tblsp fine soji / semolina// rava
2 tblsp ghee / oil
Salt to taste 

FOR THE STUFFING:
3 boiled potatoes
1 chopped onion
3 tsp oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp turmeric pdr
1 tsp roasted cumin pdr
1 tsp red chilli pdr
1/2 tsp garam masala pdr
Salt to taste
chopped coriander leaves

PROCEDURE:  
  • In a bowl take flour and ghee and rub it with your fingers till it resembles the bread crumbs
  • Add salt,semolina and mix well 
  • Knead it into a semi hard dough adding water as required
  • Keep the dough covered for 20  mins
  • In a pan take oil ,add cumin seeds ,chopped onions and saute for 2 mins
  • Add all the other spices one by one and fry for a minute
  • Put the mashed boiled  potatoes ,salt and chopped coriander leaves and mix well
  • Take the samosa pattis and put 2 tblsp of stuffing and fold it
  • If you are using home made outer covering then shape into samosa  and brush with little oil and bake it i the pre heated oven for 15-20 mins at 180 degrees
  • Serve hot with ketchup or chutney
