Tomato Chutney
INGREDIENTS:
2 chopped tomatoes
1 chopped onion
2 tsp oil
1 tsp jeera/cumin seeds
3-4 methi seeds/fenugreek
3 garlic cloves
3-4 kashmiri/byadgi red chillies
salt to taste
FOR THE TEMPERING:
2 tp oil
1 tsp mustard
curry leaves
asafoetida pdr
PROCEDURE:
2 chopped tomatoes
1 chopped onion

FOR THE TEMPERING:
2 tp oil
1 tsp mustard
curry leaves
asafoetida pdr
PROCEDURE:
- In a pan heat oil and put jeera,garlic cloves and fry
- Add red chillies,methi seeds and fry for 2 mins
- Put the chopped onion and saute till transparent
- Now add the tomatoes chopped and fry till it becomes mushy
- Remove from the flame and grind to a fine paste when it comes to room temperature
- Add water only if necesary
- Temper with the mentioned ingredients
- Serve with dosa,idli or chapathi!!!
