Garlic Rasam


INGREDIENTS:
1/4 cup boiled toor dal 
2 tomatoes boiled with 2 tsp rasam pdr and 1/2 tsp turmeric pdr
Salt to taste
Little tamarind pulp
chopped coriander leaves

To be ground :
Dry roast 1tsp pepper corns,2 tsp cumin seeds,1 sprig of curry leaf,2 red chillies and make powder with 5 garlic cloves
Tempering:
2 tsp ghee
1 tsp mustard
1/2 tsp hing
1 tsp cumin seeds
curry leaves

PROCEDURE:

  • Grind the boiled tomato and put in a vessel
  • To that add boiled toor dal, ground masala pdr n water  as required,salt to taste ,tamarind and make it boil
  • Temper with the ingredients and garnish with chopped coriander leaves
  • Serve hot with hot rice!!
