Bhindi Upkari/ Stir fry

250 gms bindi/ lady's fingers
4 tsp oil
1 tsp mustard
3  broken dry red chillies
Salt to taste


  • Wash and wipe the bhindis 
  • Cut the ends and  Chop it into thin slices
  • Heat a nonstick pan ,when  it starts crackling add red chillie broken and fry for a minute
  • Add the bhindi ,salt to taste and mix well,cook with a lid covered ,for 5-10 mins
  • Open the lid and toss well and cook for another 5 mins
  • Serve hot with hot rice and dal!!
