Mixed veg. ambat


INGREDIENTS:
2 cups boiled veggies like gobi,drumsticks,madras cucumber,ridgegourd
1/4 cup boiled toor dal
1 cup grated fresh coconut
3 red chillies roasted in little oil
little tamarind
2 finely chopped onion
5-6 tsp oil
Salt to taste
PROCEDURE:

  • Grind coconut,dry red chillies roasted and tamarind into a smooth paste and keep aside
  • Put boiled veggies and boiled dal in a vessel,add salt to taste,ground masala and make it boil
  • Add water and adjust the consistency(semi thick)
  • In a kadai fry onion chopped till dark brown and add this tempering to the curry
  • Serve hot with rice!!
