Sajjige Rotti/ Rulava bhakri



INGREDIENTS:
1 cup bombay rava
3tblsp wheat flour
1 cup fresh grated coconut
2-3 green chillies
1/2 inch ginger
2 tblsp sugar
Salt to taste
Water as required
Oil to cook dosa

PROCEDURE:

  • Crush ginger ,green chillies and mix all the other ingredients (except oil) with water as required to make thick batter (like akki rotti,talipeeth batter)
  • Heat tava ,smear some oil and put a laddle of batter in it
  • Spread it withyour fingers and shape into semi thick dosa(around 1/4 inch thick)
  • closethe lid and cook 
  • Flip the dosa and cook on both the sides adding 2 tsp oil
  • Serve hot with fresh butter
  • You can also add little curd or buttermilk to the batter!!
