Urad rice dosa

1 cup urad dal/ skinless split white lentil
2 cups dosa rice
1/4 tsp fenugreek/ methi seeds
Oil or ghee for cooking dosas


  • Soak dal ,rice and methi seeds in water for 5-6 hrsin water
  • Wash and grind into a smooth batter and keep overnight for fermentation
  • Heat a non stick pan and spread the dosa batter into a thin dosa
  • cook on both the sides using ghee or oil
  • Serve hot with any spicy gravy or chutney!!
