Amritsari Gobi ke Pakode




Thanks to my FB friend Sushma Mallya for the very  tasty, crunchy pakoda recipe !!

INGREDIENTS:
2 cups cauliflower cut into small florets
2 finely chopped onions
2 tblsp chopped coriander leaves
1 tblsp grated ginger
generous pinch of ajwain
2 tblsp corn flour
2 tblsp rice flour
4 tblsp gram flour/ besan
4-5 finely chopped green chillies
Salt to taste
1/4 tsp turmeric pdr
Oil for deep frying

PROCEDURE:

  • Take chopped onion,gobi florets,salt in a bowl and add ajwain,chopped ginger,green chillies,coriander leaves,haldi pdr and mix well
  • Add corn flour,rice flour and besan  and give a good mix, adding lil water, it will become lil sticky
  • Dont make it too watery as it wont be crispy
  • Heat oil and fry till it becomes crisp and golden brown 
  • Serve hot with ketchup or green chutney !!
