Nendrabale Fritters


INGREDIENTS:
2 fully riped nendrabale (a kind of banana used widely in Kerala and used for making chips)
Oil for deep frying
3 tblsp rice flour

FOR THE MARINATION:
2 tblsp rice flour
3 tblsp chilli pdr
1 tsp asafoetida pdr
Salt to taste
Make a semi thick paste of above ingredients adding water as needed
PROCEDURE:

  • Peel and cut the banana into 3 pieces
  • Cut each pieces int3 slices(lengthwise)
  • Apply the marination according to your taste
  • Roll each piece in rice flour 
  • Heat oil and deep fry the banana into crisp fritters on a medium flame
  • Serve hot with rice and dal !!
