Dadpe Pohe




INGREDIENTS:
2 cups thin poha/ avalakki/ beaten rice
1 finely chopped onion
1/2 cup fresh grated coconut
1 tsp lemon juice
chopped coriander leaves
Salt and sugar to taste

TEMPERING INGREDIENTS:
4 tsp oil
1 tsp mustard
curry leaves
3-4 chopped green chillies
1 tsp turmeric pdr/ haldi
1/2 tsp asafoetida / hing pdr
3 tsp peanuts


PROCEDURE:

  • In a bowl mix poha,onion,coconut gratings,salt and sugar ,keep covered  for 15 ins under one pressure
  • In a kadai put oil ,add the tempering ingredients and fry well
  • Add the tempering to the poha mixture 
  • Put lime juice ,coriander leaves and mix well
  • Serve with hot coffee or tea!!
