Matar Paneer



INGREDIENTS:
1 cup boiled fresh green peas
1/2 cup paneer cut into cubes
5 tsp oil
2 tsp kasuri methi
1/2 tsp turmeric pdr
1 1/2 tsp red chilli pdr
1 tsp jeera/cumin seeds
1 tsp kitchen king masala
Salt to taste
2tblsp curds
1 tblsp fresh cream
Chopped coriander leaves

FOR THE MASALA:
In a microwave safe bowl put 2 roughly chopped onion, 1 chopped tomato, 1/2 inch ginger,5 garlic cloves,6 cashew nuts,2 green chillies 2 tsp oil and micro it for 2 mins
Grind it into a fine paste when it comes to room temperature
If you dont want to micro it then roast in a pan 

PROCEDURE:

  • Heat oil in a pan ,add kasuri methi and jeera ,fry for 2 mins followed by ground masala 
  • Fry the masala for 5 mins,add all the spice powders,fry for a minute
  • Put the boiled peas,paneer cubes,salt to taste ,curds,and give a quick boil
  • Add fresh cream and stir well,garnish with chopped coriander leaves 
  • Serve hot with hot phulkas,naan or poori !!!
