Pepper chilli chicken

1/2  kg chicken washed and cut into pieces
6 tsp oil
6  chopped garlic cloves
3 chopped green chillies
1/2 inch ginger chopped
2 sliced onions
3 tsp soya sauce
1 tsp lime juice
1 tsp crushed pepper 
Salt to taste
chopped coriander leaves

Marinate chicken pieces with:
1/2 tsp lime juice,salt to taste and 3 tsp corn flour
Refrigerate for 20 mins and then deep fry it or shallow fry it 

Dry roast and Make masala powder  of:(roast dark brown in colour)
3 tblsp coriander seeds
2 tsp cumin seeds
2 tsp pepper corns
4 cloves
1 inch cinnamon


  • In a pan heat oil and saute chopped garlic,ginger and green chillies till light brown in colour
  • Add sliced onion and fry till translucent
  • Put the fried chicken pieces,2 tblsp masala powder, soya sauce,lime juice, pepper pdr, salt to taste and toss well
  • Add 1/4 cup water and cook for another 5 minsor till it becomes dry
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves 
  • Serve hot with any rice or noodles
Note: you can use the remaining masala powder for any other dishes
