Vegetable Korma


INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup fresh green peas
1/4 cup chopped carrot
1/4 cup gobi florets
5 tsp oil
1 tblsp fresh cream
2 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp turmeric pdr
2 tsp kasuri methi
1 tsp Kitchen king masala
2 tsp red chilli powder
Salt to taste
Chopped coriander leaves

FOR THE MASALA:
In a pan take 2 tsp oil and fry 2 chopped onions,5 garlic cloves,1/2 inch ginger,2 tblsp chopped coriander leaves,1 lavang,1/4 inch cinnamon,1 tomato,5-6 cashews till  onion becomes light brown
Once it becomes cool grind to a smooth paste


PROCEDURE:

  • Boil green peas and carrot with salt and 1/2 cup water in cooker
  • Boil gobi florets separately with lil salt(not in cooker)
  • In a pan heat oil ,put kasuri methi,2 tsp cumin seeds and fry for a min
  • Add the masala and fry for 3-4 mins
  • Add red chilli pdr,kitchen king masala,haldi pdr and fry
  • Put the boiled veggies, and make it boi for 5 mins
  • Now add the fresh cream and mix well,check the salt  and add if necessary
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with roti or pooris!!!
