Sabudana Khichdi
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup sabudana/ tapioca pearls/ sabbakki
2 small boled potatoes
4 tsp oil
1 sprig curry leaf
3 fnely chopped green chillies
1 tsp jeera/ cumin seeds
2 tblsp roasted ,crushed peanuts
1 tsp lemon juice
chopped coriander leaves
PROCEDURE:
- Soak sabudana in water for 3-4 hrs
- Drain and keep aside in a bowl
- Finely chop the boiled potaoes and keep
- In a pan heat oil,add mustard,when starts crackling,put curry leaves and green chillies
- Fry well,add jeera,fry for 2 mins
- Put soaked sabudana,chopped potato,salt,sugar and toss well
- When the sabudana looses its opaqueness and starts becoming translucent ,it means they are cooked
- Dont overcook ,as they might become lumpy
- Add chopped coriander leaves ,peanuts and lime juice,mix well
- Serve hot with coffee or tea!!!
