Chilli garlic rice with Prawn manchurian

Recipe of Prawn manchurian:

1/2 kg deveined and cleaned prawns
Oil to deep fry
3 tblsp corn flour
2 tblsp maida
1 tblsp rice flour
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
2 tsp soya sauce
salt to taste
5 tsp oil
8-10 finely chopped garlic
1/2 tsp chopped ginger
2 chopped green chillies
2 chopped onions
2 tsp tomato sauce
2 tsp soya sauce
1 tsp vinegar
1 tsp chilli pdr
1/2 tsp pepper pdr
1/4 cup corn flour slurry (mix 3 tsp corn flour in 1/4 cup water)
Coriander leaves for garnishing


  • Mix all the marination ingredients with water and make a thick batter 
  • Coat the prawns with the batter and keep for 15 mins
  • Deep fry the prawns into golden brown colour
  • In a kadai take oil and saute garlic,ginger,green chillies,till light brown colour
  • Add the onions chopped ,fry till it becomes transparent
  • Now add all the spices,sauces and vinegar
  • Fry for a minute,add 1/4 cup water and corn flour slurry ,salt to taste and bring it to boil
  • Once the sauce becomes thick ,add fred prawns and coriander leaves
  • toss well and serve hot with rice!!!
5 tsp oil
1cup rice cooked in cooker with salt to taste
1 sliced onion
8 finely chopped garlic
1/4 cup finely chopped spring onion greens
2 tblsp chopped carrot
3 chopped mushrooms
Red chilli flakes according to your taste
1 tsp vinegar
1/2 tsp crushed pepper
Salt to taste

  • Heat oil in a pan ,saute sliced onion till translucent
  • Add chopped garlic and fry till it becomes brown
  • Add chopped carrot  and saute till it is cooked
  • Add mushrooms and fry for 2 mins
  • Add chilli flakes,pepper,vinegar ,cooked rice,salt to taste and mix well
  • Serve hot with prawn manchurian!!
