Mathura ke Dubkiwale Aloo



INGREDIENTS:
2 boiled potatoes,cut into  cubes
4 tsp oil
1 tsp jeera/ cumin seeds
1 finey chopped green chilli
1/2 inch ginger grated
1/2 tsp turmeric / haldi pdr
2 tsp red chilli pdr
1 tsp garam masala pdr
1 finely chopped tomato / dry mango pdr
Pinch of hing/ asafoetida pdr
Salt to taste
Chopped coriander leaves

PROCEDURE:

  • In a pan put oil,add jeera,hing,haldi,green chillies and fry for 2 mins
  • Add the chopped tomatoes and fry till they become pulpy
  • Put all the spice powders,salt  and saute for a minute,add 2 cups water
  • Mash some potato pieces,add the potato cubes, mashed potato into the pan and make it boil for 5 mins
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves
  • Serve hot with pooris,phulkas or kachoris!!
