Davangere Benne Dosa
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup dosa rice/raw rice
2 1/2 cup boiled rice
1 cup urad dal
2 tblsp toor dal
2 tsp methi/ fenugreek seeds
Salt to taste
Butter for cooking dosa
PROCEDURE:
- SoakRice,dal and methi seeds in enough water for 5-6 hrs
- Wash and grind into a fine paste and keep overnight for fermentation
- Next morning add salt to taste and water if needed to adjust the consistency of the batter
- Heat tava and make little thick dosa ,add butter and cook the dosa both the sides
- Serve hot with potato bhaji and coconut chutney !!!
