Matki Kalu Palya/Sprouted Moth beans sabji


INGREDIENTS:
1 cup sprouted and boiled matki/ Moth beans
5 tsp oil
1 tsp mustard
curry leaves
1/2 tsp turmeric pdr/haldi
1 onion finely chopped
Salt to taste

TO BE GROUND:
In 1 tsp oil fry
 1/4 cup coriander leaves
1 or 2 green chillies
5 garlic cloves till light brown and grind to a coarse paste

PROCEDURE:

  • Heat oil in a pan ,add mustard,when it starts crackling add curry leaves,haldi and chopped onions and saute till transparent
  • Add the ground paste and fry for 5 mins,followed by the boiled matki,salt to taste
  • Cook for 5 mins and serve hot with roti !!
  • Typically this is served with jowar bhakris/ jolada rottis!!!
