Anjal Fish Fry
INGREDIENTS:
4 slices of Seer fish/ Anjal fish
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying
1/4 cup rice flour
2 tblsp fine rava
TO MAKE PASTE :
10 byadgi chillies
1/2 tsp coriander seeds
Chana dal size hing/ asafoetida
Salt to taste
Little tamarind
Make fine,thick paste of the above mentioned ingredients
PROCEDURE:
- Clean the fish slices,apply little salt to all the slices
- Coat the slices with the prepared chilli paste according to your taste and keep for minimum 3 mins
- Mix rice flour and rava and put in a plate
- Heat oil, roll each slices in the rice flour,rava mixture
- Deep fry the fish on a medium flame till it becomes crisp
- Serve hot with rice and dal !!!
NOTE: You can use the same recipe for any other fish
Store the remaining chilli paste in the freezer and use as and when you need it
