Daliya Sweet Dosa


INGREDIENTS:
1cup broken wheat/ Daliya / Godhi nuchchu/ Gonva kano
1/2 cup grated fresh coconut
1/4 cup Popped rice/  layee / Bhattada aralu
2 cardamoms / elaichi
Pinch of salt
Jaggery to taste
1/2 tsp cooking soda
Ghee for cooking and serving

PROCEDURE:

  • Soak broken wheat in water for 1/2 an hr
  • Wash popped rice and grind with coconut gratings,salt,elaichi and jaggery
  • Add water only if necessary
  • Once it becomes fine paste add  broken wheat and grind again
  • Keep the batter covered for 2-3 hrs , add soda ,heat tava  and  make  dosa  using ghee
  • Serve hot with butter !!!
