Green Peas Rava Idli

2 cup bombay rava / semolina
2-3 green chillies
5-6 curry leaves
1 tsp grated ginger
3 tsp oil
1 tsp mustard seeds
2 tsp bengalgram dal/ chana dal
1/4 cup boiled green peas
Chopped coriander leaves
1/2 cup Cashew nuts
4 cups curds
2 tsp ENO fruit salt
Salt to taste
PROCEDURE:
- Heat oil in a pan and temper mustard seeds,bengalgram dal,chopped curry leaves,green chillies,ginger and fry for 3-4 mins
- Add rava and roast on a low flame till nice aroma comes and remove from the flame
- When it comes to room temperature add 2 cups curds ,salt to taste and mix well
- After 5 mins add the remaining 2 cus curds , boiled green peas ,cashewnuts,coriander leaves and mix
- If the batter is too thick add some more curd(dont add water)
- Grease the idli mould with oil
- Heat the steamer and keep ready
- Quickly add the ENO fruit salt to the batter and mix properly
- Pour the batter in greased moulds and steam for 20-25 mins
- Dont overfill the moulds as it may rise a bit
- Serve hot idlis with chutney,sambar or vegetable saagu!!!
