Matti Gulla Bajo


INGREDIENTS:
1 Matti Gulla/  Green Brinjal
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying

FOR THE BATTER YOU NEED:
3/4 cup besan/  chikpea flour
1 tblsp rice flour
2 tsp red chilli pdr
1/2 tsp hing pdr
Salt to taste
Pinch of cooking soda
Add water and prepare a smooth ,thick batter with the above mentioned ingredients

PROCEDURE:

  • Cut the stem of brinjal , cut into 2 piece and make thin slices and put in water
  • Wash the brinjal slices ,apply little salt to it
  • Heat oil ,dip each slice in the prepared batter and deep fry the bajo /pakoda
  • Serve hot with coffee or tea!!!
