Jhatpat Aloo Gobi


INGREDIENTS:
1 cup gobi/ cauliflower cut into florets and keep in warm,salted water for 15 mins
1 potato cut into cubes
1 onion chopped
1 tomato chopped
4 tsp oil
Salt to taste
Chopped coriander leaves
1 tsp kasuri methi

FOR THE MASALA:
In a small bowl take
2 tsp red chilli pdr
1/2 tsp turmeric pdr
2 tsp cumin/ jeera pdr
1/2 tsp coriander pdr
1/2 tsp hing pdr
2 tsp garlic pdr
Mix well and keep aside

PROCEDURE:

  • Put aloo in a micro safe bowl,add 1/2 cup water ,little salt and micro it for 3 mins
  • In same bowl add gobi florets and micro again for 2-3 mins or till it is cooked
  • In a pan heat oil,add chopped onion and fry till transparent
  • Now add the spice powder mix,fry and sprinkle some water to avoid it from burning
  • Add the cooked gobi ,all and chopped tomato without water, toss well and cook for 5 mins
  • Add kasuri methi and mix well,garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with hot phulkas!!
