Bhindi ki Sabji with Phulka


INGREDIENTS:
25O gms bhindi/ okra/ lady's fingers
5 tsp oil
2 finely chopped onions
1 finely chopped tomato
5 crushed garlic cloves
1/2 tsp turmeric pdr
2 tsp red chilli pdr
1 tsp misal masala pdr or any other garam masala pdr
Salt to taste
Chopped coriander leaves 

PROCEDURE:

  • Wash and wipe the bhindis,cut the ends and cut into 1/2 inch roundels
  • Heat oil in a non stick kadai,add crushed garlic and fry for 5 mins,followed by chopped onions
  • Saute onions till translucent,add the chopped bhindi ,cover with a lid and cook till it becomes tender
  • Now add the tomatoes,salt to taste  and cook for 5 mins
  • Add the spice powders and toss well  ,cook for 5 mins ,garnish with chopped coriander leaves
  • Serve with hot phulkas .
