Batate Pej Upkari


INGREDIENTS:
2 boiled potatoes
2 slit green chillies
2 tblsp grated coconut
Salt to taste

FOR TEMPERING:
3 tsp oil
1 tsp mustard
1 sprig of curry leaves
2 red chillies broken
1/2 tsp hing/ asafoetida

PROCEDURE:

  • Peel the boiled potatoes and chop the potatoes
  • Slightly crush some potatoes with your hands,add 1 cup water,salt,slit green chillies  and grated coconut
  • Make it boil for 10 mins,switch off the flame
  • Add the tempering with the ingredients mentioned
  • Serve hot with rice .
