Crispy Ghee Dosa

3 cups dosa rice
1/2 cup boiled / ukda rice
1/2 cup urad dal
2 tsp methi / fenugreek seeds
2 handful moongdal
1/2 tsp cooking soda
Salt to taste
Pinch of sugar
Ghee for cooking dosa


  • Soak ingredients from no 1 to 5 in water for 5-6 hrs
  • Wash well ,drain water and grind into a smooth batter 
  • Keep covered in a warm place  for fermentation
  • Add salt ,sugar, and cooikng soda to the batter,mix well 
  • Heat tava and make thin dosas ,adding 2-3 tsp ghee
  • No need to cook another side
  • Serve hot with coconut chutney
