Haryali Mushroom Masala


INGREDIENTS:
1 pack of mushrooms
2 onions finely chopped
5 tsp oil
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp garam masala pdr 
Salt to taste
2 tsp kasuri methi
1 tsp lemon juice

FOR THE MASALA PASTE:
2 tblsp grated coconut
2-3 green chillies
1/2 inch ginger
1/2 cup coriander leaves
8 cashew nuts
3 garlic cloves
Grind the above ingredients into a fine paste and keep aside

PROCEDURE:

  • Wash and cut the mushrooms into pieces
  • In a pan heat oil,add chopped onions and fry till it turns light pink 
  • Add haldi,ground masala ,garam masala ,and fry till raw smell goes
  • Add the mushrooms,salt to taste  and cook until it is cooked
  • Add water and adjust the consistency of the gravy according to your choice
  • Finish with adding chopped coriander leaves ,lemon juice ,kasuri methi  and mix well
  • Serve hot with roti,naan or phulkas.
