Lahsooni Batata


INGREDIENTS:
15 Baby potatoes 
2 tblsp oil
1 tsp ginger garlic crushed
2 finely chopped green chillies
1 tsp cumin seeds/ jeera
2 tsp Kasmiri red chilli pdr (or use according to your taste)
1/2 tsp amchur pdr
1/2 tsp corinader/ daniya pdr
1/4 tsp turmeric / haldi pdr
1/2 tsp garam masala pdr
Chopped coriander leaves

PROCEDURE:

  • Parboil the baby potatoes in cooker for 2-3 whistles,peel it
  • Heat 2 tsp oil in apan and roast the potatoes init with little salt until it becomes light brown and crisp
  • In a bowl mix red chilli pdr,turmeric,daniya pdr,amchur,garam masala pdr ,add little water and make a paste
  • Apply this paste to the roasted potatoes and rest it for 30 mins
  • Heat oil in pan ,add cumin seeds,crushed ginger garlic,green chillies and saute till it becomes golden brown
  • Add marinated potatoes and saute for 5 mins
  • Cook further for 5 more mins,with a lid covered
  • Turn off the flame and garnish with chopped coriander leaves
  • Serve hot with rice , roti or dosa.
