Belgaum Kunda


INGREDIENTS:
1 ltr milk 
1/2 cup sugar + 1/4 cup
1/2 cup fresh curd
1 tsp cardamom powder

PROCEDURE:

  • Put the milk in a thick bottomed vesseland boil it until it is reduced to 1/3 rd
  • Add sugar to it and mix well.
  • Add the curds and cook, you will see that the milk will curdle ,continue cooking,stirring continuously.
  • Heat another pan ,add remaining 1/4 cup sugar, heat it till it caramalises and turns into brown colour
  • Immediately pour this into the curdled milk and stir well
  • Contiue cooking till it becomes dry,add the cardamom pdr and mix well
  • Serve hot or chilled.
