INGREDIENTS:
3/4 cup all purpose flour / maida
2 tblsp besan / chick pea flour
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup ghee
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp cardamom pdr
Nuts finely chopped for garnishing

PROCEDURE:

  • In a mixing bowl combine maida,baking soda,besan,cardamom pdr 
  • In another bowl whip ghee and sugar pdr together with a hand mixer till it becomes a smooth mixture(1 minute on low speed and 2 mins on high speed)
  • Slowly fold the flour mixture into the sugar mixtureand knead together
  • Now make small size ballsand presson top with your palmto flatten it a bit, and place the nutson top as garnish
  • Place the balls on a baking tray with 1 inch gap
  • Bake at 300 F/ 180C in pre heated oven, for 10 to 12 mins
  • Keep a close eye after 9 mins, as it can burn easily
  • Take it out and rest for 5 - 10 mins , as they are very  soft and can break if you try to eat it immediately
