Sajjige Rotti with Onion / Rava Rotti


INGREDIENTS:
1 cup rava / semolina
3 tblsp wheat flour
1 cup freshly grated coconut
Salt to taste
Sugar to taste
1/2 inch crushed ginger
2 crushed green chillies
2 small onions finely chopped
2 tblsp finely chopped coriander leaves
Oil for cooking dosa

PROCEDURE:

  • In a bowl Mix all the ingredients (except oil)
  • Add water as required to make a semi thick batter 
  • Mix well and keep aside for 15 mins
  • Heat tava ,put one handful of batter and spread pat it with your finers to give a shape of bhakri / dosa
  • Cook both the sides,adding 2-3 tsp oil 
  • Serve hot with fresh butter.
  • You can prepare the same without onion too.
